THE HOSPITALITY SCHOOL
CIFP HOSTELERÍA-OSTALARITZA LHII - GALDAKAO (Galdakao Hospitality School) is a public center of Secondary Education, dependent on the Department of Education of the Basque Government. We offer Vocational Training Cycles in the Professional Families of Hospitality and Tourism, and Food Industries, as well as continuous, occupational, and distance training. The center is located in a complex of five buildings where its facilities are distributed, equipped with the most cutting-edge machinery, equipment, and resources you can imagine. Immerse yourself in a dynamic and current educational system, where you are the protagonist from day one, enriching yourself thanks to the quality of our training, where student overcrowding is not tolerated; all backed by the largest and best accredited experience: we have been training since 1978, and it's FREE (Enrollment and studies), with the possibility of a scholarship.
We have a practice workshop open to the public, the restaurant, where you can see the learning level of our students. In this workshop, the skills and abilities of our students in different specialties of Cooking and Gastronomy, Bakery-pastry, and confectionery, Kitchen Management, and Restaurant Services are reflected. Together and as a team under the supervision of the teaching staff, they are the ones who combine everything to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
An added value in your training are the internships we manage in the leading companies in the sector in Bizkaia, also offering you the opportunity to do internships abroad within the Erasmus+ program (Poland, Italy, France, England, Portugal, etc.) To conclude, we enrich your training with complementary and extracurricular activities: Visits to Wineries, Gastronomy Congresses, Tourism Fairs, Participation in gastronomic events.
